As the VP of Operations and Growth at Volano, Amanda makes sure we’re taking great care of our customers and employee owners. Helping Volano be the best software consultancy in the region is a top priority. She’s thrilled to be at an employee-owned company where everyone has a stake in the success of the business. Amanda has more than 15 years in the software space, helping grow tech companies through strategic marketing and sales, operational efficiency, and coaching her team to the best version of themselves.
Prior to the tech industry, Amanda spent time in higher education and journalism trying to figure out what she wanted to do when she grew up. After studying with the sitting Poet Laureate of the U.S., advising graduate-level nurses in an academic setting and editing daily articles for a top ag journalism outfit, she stumbled into software and never looked back. Her broad experience across industries and disciplines makes her a well-balanced leader and a force to be reckoned with during trivia games. She has a husband, 3 kids and 2 dogs, and in her spare time, she thinks about what she would do if she had any spare time.
